Privacy
What we collect
We show no ads and have no accounts or forms. The only cookies on the site are Google Analytics cookies, and those are set only if you allow them when asked.
Visitor statistics
We count visits with Umami, an open-source analytics tool. It tells us which pages are read, how far down each page people scroll (which sections come into view), which booking buttons are clicked, where visitors came from, and broad details such as browser, device type and country. It does not record mouse movements or keystrokes. Umami says it uses no cookies and does not collect personal information, and it does not follow you to other sites. See Umami's privacy policy.
We also use Google Analytics. When you first visit, it runs without cookies and sends Google only anonymous, cookieless counts. If you choose "Allow analytics cookies", it sets cookies so that return visits can be recognised, and Google processes that data under Google's privacy policy. You can change your mind by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the choice back. Neither tool records mouse movements or keystrokes.
Clicks to booking partners
When you click a link to a booking partner (for example a tour on GetYourGuide), it passes through our own address first. We record the page, the partner, the time, the country your connection comes from and the page you came from, so we can tell which pages are useful. We do not record who you are. The partner's own privacy policy applies once you reach their site.
Our hosting provider
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes basic technical information such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver pages and protect the service. See Vercel's privacy policy.
Fonts
Text is set in fonts loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers to fetch them. See Google's privacy policy.

If we change how we measure the site, we'll update this page before the change goes live.
